How does a person choose the right course for themselves when it’s time to enroll in university? What are their doubts? What are their passions? What is their social context? Based on these questions, my team and I have developed multiple personas to identify hypothetical new students who are different from one another, based on factors such as age and passions. What unites them is their indecision about which course to pursue. After interviewing some first-year students, we summarized the interviews on FIGMA, a tool that allows for collaboration in the design process. Then, we designed our app on XD, a tool that could be useful for the personas to decide which course to start. The app is designed for both mobile and desktop devices and includes an orientation test to discover the most suitable faculty for each person.Using SPARK AR, we created our fun Instagram and Facebook filter called ‘‘What’s Your Course?’’
